Our Company

In 2017 Jason and JD decided to put their extensive software design and development experience to use in a more personal way by creating Senior Place.

Having parents and grandparents who are aging, they understand how important specialized placement services are for ensuring loved ones are taken care of in a respectful and caring way. That’s why Jason and JD sought to enable senior placement professionals, like yourself, to do their job even more effectively!

We understand the importance of Senior Placement work – that’s why we built Senior Place to help you do your job even better! The result is that more seniors, like our own parents and grandparents, will be placed in communities that fit their needs and desires.


Building a piece of software is simple. Building it well is the hard part.

Our development experience has taught us that quality software is crucial to providing long-lasting value to you, the customer. That’s why we don’t cut corners when it comes to planning, building, and releasing features.


While we believe Senior Place is the best senior placement software on the market, we know there is always room for growth.

We’re regularly improving the platform based on customer feedback and experience. We’re also always looking for ways to add value through new features and tools!

Our Team


(Co-Founder & CEO)

Determined and creative, Jason’s leadership style is driven by a desire to see the placement/referral industry thrive so that families can avoid the common pitfalls of placing a loved one on their own. When not at work, Jason enjoys visiting national parks with his wife and four kids, as well as playing board games and ultimate frisbee.


(Co-Founder & CTO)

A systems savant with a keen ability to problem solve, JD pushes for excellence in Senior Place in everything from security to customer experience. In his off-time, you’re likely to find him spending time with family, playing pickleball, and enjoying board games.


(Onboarding & Support Specialist)

Both at work and home, April exudes care and kindness. While she can’t hug our customers like she does her kids, she still provides stellar support and onboarding help!


(Principal Software Engineer)

A coding wizard with extensive startup and big-tech experience alike. You’re likely to find him hanging with family, playing indoor soccer, or watching a Seahawks game on the weekend!



(Customer Experience & Growth Specialist)

When not reading at local cafes or listening to jazz hip-hop (don’t knock it ’til you try it), James is helping customers feel more engaged with Senior Place and the industry as a whole.



(Technical Support Specialist)
